The English and Maths SATs papers taken by our pupils at the age of seven (Key Stage 1, Year 2) are marked by our class teachers. Some papers are moderated by the local education authority (LEA) to ensure marking is consistent. Science is teacher-assessed only.
All of the English and Maths SATs taken by our Key Stage 2 children are marked by the LEA. A paper in science is carried out in Key Stage 2 which is teacher assessed.
